Infinite Medical P.C. in Little Falls, MN is seeking a dynamic Medical Director/Attending Physician to oversee the delivery of comprehensive geriatric care at skilled nursing facilities.

This part-time role (2 days per week) involves leadership, credentialing, and guiding clinical staff to ensure high-quality outcomes. You will work to implement best practices and stay current with geriatric care advancements.

Qualifications

• CMD preferred; leadership and oversight experience in LTC settings.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality improvement processes in long-term care.
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
• Experience in credentialing and physician leadership roles.
• Mentorship and staff development skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing oversight, mentorship, and clinical guidance to medical staff.
• Lead credentialing and interview processes for new medical staff.
• Chair or co-chair the QAPI Committee on a quarterly basis.
• Assist in DOH survey preparedness and regulatory compliance.
• Lead implementation of new clinical programs and geriatric care initiatives.
• Direct patient care while maintaining high standards of clinical care.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Medical Director/ Attending Physician to join our team. As the Medical Director/ Attending Physician, you will play a key role in overseeing the delivery of comprehensive care to patients, ensuring high-quality service, and promoting best practices across the healthcare team. You will provide leadership, guidance, and direction to clinical staff, fostering a collaborative environment while maintaining the highest standards of patient care. Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing oversight, mentorship, and clinical guidance to the medical staff to maintain high standards of care
• Foster a collaborative environment that promotes best practices and continuous professional development
• Lead the interview and credentialing process for prospective medical staff
• Chair or co-chair the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) Committee on a quarterly basis
• Assist in Department of Health (DOH) survey preparedness, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
• Lead the implementation of new clinical programs and initiatives
• Stay informed of advancements in geriatric and long-term care to continuously evolve the facility's clinical offerings
• Provide direct patient care to residents, ensuring the highest quality of clinical treatment and support

Requirements

• Certified Medical Director (CMD) certification is preferred.
• Extensive experience in long-term care (LTC) or skilled nursing facility settings.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality improvement processes in long-term care
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to enhance patient care and facility operations
• Prolonged standing and walking on facility floors. Carrying a medical bag, laptop, tablet or diagnostic equipment. Bending, stooping, or assisting with positioning during exams. Navigating multi-level buildings, potentially with stairs or uneven surfaces. Lifting/moving patients.
