The position collaborates with healthcare professionals to balance service, cost, and regulatory compliance while driving medical management initiatives, appeals, mentoring, and continuous performance improvement across the organization.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted medical license in a US state or territory.
• Board certification in ABMS- or AOA-recognized specialty.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical practice or direct patient care experience beyond residency.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Medical Director to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This remote leadership role will focus on clinical decision-making that supports appropriate coverage, claims resolution, and high-quality outcomes for members. The Medical Director will collaborate with healthcare professionals to balance service, cost, and regulatory compliance while advancing medical management initiatives. This position also plays a key role in appeals, mentoring, and continuous performance improvement across the organization.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available. Compensation: $212,600 - $354,300 annually.

Responsibilities
