Qualifications

• 3–5 years of clinical experience (preferred).
• Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to pass a background check (required).
• Correctional healthcare experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide medical leadership and clinical oversight for correctional healthcare operations.
• Deliver direct patient care as needed.
• Supervise and support advanced practice providers (NPs and PAs).
• Review and approve medications and complex treatment plans.
• Ensure compliance with clinical standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with facility leadership, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and evidence‑based clinical practices.
• Mentor providers and assist with complex clinical decision‑making.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation as assigned.
