Atlas Consultancy Group, in partnership with a well-established AAHA-accredited small animal hospital in Naperville, IL, seeks a Medical Lead to blend clinical work with leadership. You’ll mentor a team of three experienced DVMs, shape clinical direction, and drive standards with the Practice Manager.

This role covers a broad caseload in preventative care, surgery, dentistry, and internal medicine, with access to in-house ultrasound, digital radiography, and lab diagnostics.

This opportunity is ideal for a veterinarian looking to move into a medical lead role, or a Medical Director looking for their next challenge, you’ll combine clinical work with meaningful leadership. You’ll join a collaborative team of three experienced DVMs, supported by a skilled technician and client care team, and you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the hospital’s clinical direction, mentoring colleagues, and driving standards forward.

The hospital itself is a modern, fully equipped small animal facility, offering a wide range of services including preventative care, surgery, dentistry, and internal medicine. With access to in-house ultrasound, digital radiography, and on-site laboratory diagnostics, you’ll be able to manage cases efficiently and to a high standard. About You:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) Degree
• Hold an Illinois State License in good standing, or the ability to obtain one
• Minimum of 2+ years’ clinical experience, with an interest in leadership
• Enjoys mentoring and developing others
• Strong communicator with a passion for client relationships and team culture
• Motivated to contribute to both clinical excellence and business performance
