Doddridge Animal Clinic in Corpus Christi, TX, is seeking a compassionate veterinarian to step into the role of Medical Director. With a well-established, six-doctor team, you will mentor clinicians, uphold medical standards, and partner with the Hospital Manager to lead operations while staying hands-on with cases.

Qualifications

• DVM graduate of an AVMA-accredited CVM or ECFVG/PAVE-certified.
• 4+ years of experience in small animal GP or hybrid practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead medical standards and mentor the 6-vet team and staff.
• Partner with Hospital Manager to drive operations and development.
• Balance 90% clinical work with 10% administrative leadership.
• Oversee scheduling: 4 days/week with rotating 1/2 Saturdays.

Medical Director - Qualifications and Responsibilities:

• DVM graduate of an AVMA-accredited CVM or ECFVG/PAVE-certified
• 4+ years of experience practicing as a DVM in small animal GP or hybrid practice
• Strong clinician with passion for mentorship, leadership, and medical excellence
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach with staff and excellent client relationship skills
• Strategic mindset to support operations and team development by partnering with the Hospital Manager to lead our team of 6 veterinarians and support staff
• Establish and uphold medical standards of care while fostering a positive, growth-oriented culture
• Estimated time allocation: 90% clinical, 10% administrative/leadership responsibilities
• Schedule : 4 days per week and rotating 1/2 Saturdays
