Job summary

VCA Closter Animal Hospital is seeking a Medical Director to lead veterinary services in an affluent neighborhood close to NYC. You will be supported by a talented team and state-of-the-art technology to provide world-class veterinary care.

The position offers a salary range of $150,000 to $175,000, negotiated based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.

The ideal candidate will hold a DVM degree and possess NJ licensure, committed to high standards of veterinary medicine.

Qualifications

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university.
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in NJ, or the ability to obtain.
  • A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics.

Schedule
  • FT, PT, Rotating weekends and evenings, flexible to specific needs
  • Open 7 days a week
  • (Mon/Wed/Fri 8am to 5pm, Tue/Thu 8am-6pm, Sat 8am-12pm, Sun 9am-1pm)

  • Patient mix (Cats and Dogs)

The annual salary range for this position is $150,000 to $175,000.

Salary is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities and other relevant credentials. * *
