Primary Care Solutions (PCS) is seeking a Medical Director to lead clinical care at a VA Community-Based Outpatient Clinic. You will oversee veteran care, ensure adherence to VA guidelines, and provide clinical leadership to a dedicated team serving America's Veterans.

The role emphasizes patient-centered, high-quality care with no on-call shifts, weekday hours, and competitive compensation. You will collaborate with VA partners to sustain excellent outcomes and clinic performance.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree with board certification in family medicine or internal medicine.
• Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of employment.
• Current, unrestricted DEA registration.
• BLS certification renewed annually.
• Ability to provide clinical leadership and foster a positive clinic culture.
• Excellent computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct clinical care of veterans with diagnosis and treatment.
• Oversee clinical care for veterans enrolled in the clinic.
• Medical resource for care delivery.
• Achieve strong clinical outcomes via chart reviews and VA guidelines.
• Develop a positive working relationship with VA partners.
• Support patient enrollment and retention through scheduling guidance.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Primarily a direct clinical care role, diagnosis, and treatment of veterans
• Oversee the clinical care given to veterans enrolled in the clinic
• Medical resource for care delivery
• Achieve and maintain excellent clinical outcomes through periodic chart reviews, direct observation, and by abiding by VA guidelines.
• Develop and maintain a positive, collaborative and working relationship with our VA partners
• Support patient enrollment and retention by providing guidance, when necessary, regarding scheduling, follow-up visits, or nurse visits.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Medical transcripts required during interview with Recruiter
• Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine Degree (MD/DO)
• Board-certified in family practice or internal medicine
• 2 years of clinical medical practice in primary care preferred
• Active, unrestricted license in the state of desired employment
• Current, unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration
• Current certification in American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support (to be renewed annually)
• Ability to provide clinical leadership
• Maintain a positive clinic culture by displaying an enthusiastic and encouraging demeanor
• Excellent computer skills
