Qualifications

About the Medical Director Role

We're seeking a veterinarian who is excited to serve as both a clinical leader and a champion for the team.

In this role, you'll partner with the hospital team and regional leadership to help foster a positive medical culture, support clinical excellence, and identify opportunities for the practice to continue growing.

You’ll have a voice in the direction of the hospital while continuing to practice medicine and build meaningful relationships with your patients, clients, and team.

As Medical Director, You’ll:

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a Medical Director who is an excellent clinicianand an authentic, people-focused leader.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college of veterinary medicine (or equivalent certification for international graduates)
  • Active Texas veterinary license in good standing, or ability to obtain licensure prior to start date
  • Successful completion of the NAVLE
  • 5+ years of clinical veterinary experience preferred
  • Previous leadership or Medical Director experience is a plus, but strong emerging leaders are encouraged to apply
  • Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A collaborative, team-oriented leadership style

Hours: Monday-Friday: 7:30 AM-6:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM-1:00 PM
