Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Test Technician for Medical Device Testing in Saint Louis, MO. This contract role offers hands-on experience testing innovative products used in healthcare environments worldwide and collaboration with experienced engineers to strengthen verification, validation, quality, and reliability testing skills.

You will execute mechanical and electrical test protocols, perform metrology inspections, and operate lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and environmental chambers.

Qualifications

• Experience with testing, inspection, quality, validation, or diagnostics of electromechanical products.
• Ability to use test equipment such as oscilloscopes, calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and analytical skills.
• Experience in medical device, aerospace, manufacturing, or other regulated environments is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute mechanical and electrical test protocols and verification activities.
• Perform dimensional inspections using metrology equipment.
• Set up, calibrate, and operate lab equipment including oscilloscopes, force gauges, environmental chambers, and DAQ systems.
• Conduct functional, reliability, and failure testing on electromechanical products.
• Analyze test results and generate detailed test reports.
• Support root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Maintain compliance with GLP, GDP, and cGMP requirements.
