Job summary

Stellartech Research Corp in Milpitas, CA is seeking a Software Verification and Validation Engineer to plan, develop, execute, and document verification activities for software-driven products. You will collaborate with software, systems, quality, regulatory, and product teams to ensure requirements are met and releases are compliant.

Reporting to the Director of Sustaining and Compliance Engineering, this on-site role emphasizes rigorous testing across unit, integration, and system levels,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/SE/EE/Biomedical Eng with 2+ years of experience.
• Experience with software verification/validation, testing, or quality engineering in regulated environments.
• Ability to write clear test protocols, test cases, reports, and technical documentation.
• Working knowledge of SDLC processes and requirements-based testing.
• Experience with defect tracking, configuration management, and requirements management tools.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Review software requirements and design for completeness, clarity, testability, and traceability.
• Develop and execute verification and validation protocols.
• Perform manual and automated testing at unit, integration, and system levels.
• Document defects, support root cause analysis, verify fixes, and track issues through closure.
