Job summary
Philips is seeking a Software Test Engineer for Medical Device Integration in Bedford, MA. You will join a high-performing software team focused on testing and verifying cardiovascular diagnostic software within the IGT unit.
You will develop test artifacts, establish traceability from requirements to test cases, participate in Scrum, and collaborate with global teams to ensure compliant, high-quality releases in a regulated environment.
Qualifications
- 4+ years as Software Test Engineer or similar role.
- Experience with Jama, Jira, TestComplete, Quality Center.
- Experience with Qt Squish, PyTest, WinAppDriver.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with Product Management and Product Owner to define software functionality through user story mappings.
- Ensures requirements are complete, clear, and testable and validates readiness.
- Develops test artifacts: test scenarios, plans, cases across functional, performance, reliability, safety, localization.
- Establishes full traceability between requirements and test cases for 100% test coverage.
- Participates in Scrum and risk management activities (FMEA) and supports sprint execution and releases.
