Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking Quality Inspectors for a day shift on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule in Buffalo Grove, IL. This temporary role involves dimensional and visual inspections of medical device components, with CQMS tools and cGMP compliance.

Strong reading of blueprints and documentation is required. Qualified candidates have at least 1 year in QA inspection, experience with precision tools, and knowledge of cGMP, GDP, and ISO standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a quality inspection role, ideally within medical device manufacturing.
• Proficiency using precision measuring tools, gauges, inspection fixtures, and interpreting technical blueprints.
• Strong working knowledge of cGMP, GDP, and ISO quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections on medical device components using micrometers, calipers, optical gaging machines, and CMM equipment.
• Read and interpret complex part drawings, blueprints, and data to determine exact product specifications.
• Conduct comprehensive lot documentation reviews to ensure strict compliance with cGMP, GDP, and ISO standards.
• Write nonconformance, rework instruction, and deviation reports when materials fail to meet requirements.
• Communicate inspection findings with operational leads and recommend corrective actions to maintain continuous improvement.
