Job summary

Calyxo, Inc. in Pleasanton, CA seeks a Senior Process Development Technician to support new product development by executing prototype builds, testing, and providing manufacturability feedback to improve processes.

The role requires extensive catheter manufacturing experience, strong documentation, and the ability to train others while delivering high-quality products on schedule. Candidates must have 10+ years as a manufacturing technician in the medical device field and be comfortable working

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a manufacturing technician in the medical device industry.
• Experience building and testing prototypes for new products.
• Experience with hotbox bonding, lamination, laser welding, adhesive bonding, hydrophilic coating, and soldering.
• Ability to work with small components under a microscope for extended periods.
• Experience in clean room environments with proper gowning and material handling.
• Ability to follow MPI and complete LHR per cGMP.
• Strong communication with engineers and ability to train others.
• Regularly lift up to 10 lbs; up to 25 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Execute prototype builds for new designs and processes
• Assist with engineering testing and documentation of results
• Identify, recommend, and execute process improvements
• Train production assemblers on new manufacturing processes
• Manufacture quality product on time per the build plan
• Complete documentation as required by the Quality System
