Job summary

Groe Advisors LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support build and test of medical retinal imaging equipment. You will rotate across cells, assist with KPI targets, and uphold GMP-compliant procedures.

The role requires strong fault-finding, teamwork, and adherence to safety while maintaining 5S and Lean practices in a busy production environment. Onsite hours are 7am-3:30pm, 6-month temp-to-perm position.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with ISO and GMP requirements related to production.
• Excellent communication skills in oral and written form.
• Knowledge of product build, test, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience in a medical device manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
• Basic understanding of 5S, Lean manufacturing, and problem-solving methods.
• Flexibility to participate in job rotations and cross-training as required.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist other Manufacturing Technicians to meet KPI targets.
• Participate in rotations and cross-training to support flexibility.
• Support daily, weekly, and monthly production targets by shifting between areas as needed.
• Meet established quality requirements for products and processes.
• Ensure output goals for each operation are achieved.
• Maintain GMP compliance and accurate device history records.
• Build good working relationships with other departments.
• Inform Supervisor of any quality issues or findings.
• Highlight inventory issues to inventory specialist for timely resolution.
• Keep a clean, safe workspace using 5S methods.
• Maintain Kanban levels and rotate across Value Stream areas.
• Identify waste and contribute Lean improvements.
• Enter data accurately into MES, NCP and parts ordering systems.
