Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
3–5+ years of technical writing in manufacturing or regulated environments.
Experience creating controlled technical documentation (work instructions, SOPs, specs, protocols, etc.).
Ability to translate complex engineering into clear, operator-ready instructions.
Experience working with engineers, QA, Operations, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Shadow engineers to capture processes and create work instructions.
Develop documentation from engineering inputs, drawings, specifications, and test data.
Review and standardize engineer-generated work instructions for production operators.
Create, revise, and standardize inspection procedures, protocols, and reports.
Support ERP part creation and related documentation across departments.
Transform complex procedures into visual, step-by-step instructions with visuals.
Apply plain-language principles to improve comprehension for varied English proficiency.
Ensure docs support manufacturing processes transfer and regulatory requirements.
Identify gaps and drive documentation through approval workflows.
