Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support ultrasound probe production. You will work with Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, and Global Engineering teams to apply technical skills to processes, equipment, documentation, and continuous improvement in a regulated medical device environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration across global teams, process validation, and ongoing manufacturing support to ensure quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field from an accredited university.
• 0-3 years of engineering experience, internships or co‑ops welcome.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data and develop practical recommendations.
• Ability to work independently and cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing processes, tooling, and equipment in a validated environment.
• Investigate issues and analyze data to implement solutions with Operations and Quality teams.
• Analyze process and product performance to identify trends and improve quality and productivity.
• Develop and implement cost-effective improvements to product quality and manufacturing costs.
• Create and maintain manufacturing documentation and change controls.
• Plan and execute assigned tasks, tracking progress and risks.
