Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Sales Associate in our Sports Medicine specialty. You will support Sales Representatives in selling, promoting and educating healthcare staff on Stryker products, tailoring messages to each customer’s needs and ensuring proper product use and updates.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years in outside sales (medical-related fields preferred), a BA/BS, and completed field/product training. Travel up to 20% is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years in an outside sales position (medical related fields is preferable).
• B.A. or B.S. degree required.
• Field sales training--In field training.
• Successful completion of in-house product training program.

Responsibilities

• Educate doctors, nurses and staff on proper use and maintenance of Stryker products.
• Tailor promotional messages based on customer knowledge and product updates.
• Assist Sales Representatives in sales, promotion and marketing of Stryker products.
• Answer customer questions about product functionality and differentiators.
• Negotiate price and terms with customers and manage customer questions and complaints.
