Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; a two-year technical degree is a plus.
• Experience in complex electro-mechanical assembly, preferably in medical devices or high-reliability electronics.
• Skilled in electro-mechanical assembly techniques, wiring, and safe handling of PCBs.
• Able to perform basic soldering and use electronic test equipment.
• Able to read assembly prints, mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Familiarity with torque tools, fasteners, adhesives, and measurement gages.
• Familiar with GMP environments and reviewing DHR is preferred.
• Detail-oriented with good color vision and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test precision electro-mechanical medical devices and handheld components.
• Follow drawings, schematics, and SOPs to meet quality specs.
• Handle PCBs, wiring harnesses, and micro-electronic assemblies per ESD rules.
• Use torque wrenches, bonding agents, and soldering equipment safely.
• Maintain production documentation including DHR, lot/serial tracking, and work orders.
• Collaborate with Quality and Manufacturing Engineering to troubleshoot deviations and root causes.
• Update work instructions and suggest process improvements.
• Maintain GMP-regulated workstation and compliance.
