Job summary

Stryker in Fort Lauderdale, FL is hiring for a driver/warehouse associate. The role involves inventory tracking, arranging merchandise for transport, route planning, and performing safety inspections.

You will load/unload materials, maintain vehicle upkeep, and assist the branch with customer issues. The position requires a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license with no restrictions.
• Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work flexible hours including weekends/evenings as needed.
• Participate in On-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate warehouse inventory records and perform cycle counts.
• Arrange merchandise for transport to customers and locations.
• Read maps and plan routes.
• Perform safety inspections in transportation setting.
• Load/unload and inspect containers for sterility and condition of implants & instruments.
• Schedule and perform basic maintenance on delivery vehicle and maintain records.
• Escalate repairs or extensive maintenance to supervisor.
• Address customer complaints and communicate with Branch team.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 10am - 6:30 pm

Mandatory overtime based on business needs.

On call responsibilities.

What you will do-

• Responsible for accurate inventory tracking and record keeping, warehouse inventory cycle counting and optimizing inventory utilization
• Arrange merchandise for transport (on delivery and return) and at customer locations
• Read maps and route configuration
• Perform safety inspections in transportation setting
• Load, unload, or stack containers, materials, or products while checking for sterility, missing/broken implants & instruments
• Perform and/or schedule preventative and regular minor maintenance on company delivery vehicle, (fuel, fluid levels, tires, etc.), and keeps accurate maintenance records
• Advise supervisor when repairs or extensive maintenance are required for the company vehicle
• Field customer complaints, address and communicate as necessary to Branch team members

What you need-

• Possess a valid driver's license with no restrictions
• Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work flexible hours, as needed to support the business needs, including weekend(s) and evening(s) as needed
• Participate with On-call rotation

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED
• 1+ related work experience

$22.10 per hour plus bonus eligible + benefits.
