Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting a Professional, Quality Steward for cybersecurity across the DePuy Synthes portfolio. You will embed Secure by Design from concept through end-of-life, partnering with R&D, Product Management, Engineering, Regulatory, and Quality.

The role requires practical knowledge of product security, secure development practices, and regulatory expectations to keep products safe, compliant, and defensible to regulators and customers.

Qualifications

• Experience applying Secure by Design in medical device or cybersecurity contexts.
• Knowledge of regulatory expectations across FDA, EU MDR, and international standards.
• Ability to coordinate security activities across R&D, Regulatory, Quality, and Clinical teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as product security steward for assigned lines through lifecycle.
• Define and document security requirements with product owners and engineers.
• Facilitate threat modeling and security reviews for connected devices and software.
• Coordinate security risk assessments per AAMI TIR57 and ISO 14971.
• Generate and maintain SBOMs; monitor components for vulnerabilities.
