Baptist Health in Little Rock is seeking a Denials Specialist to manage claim denials, initiate reconsiderations or appeals, and coordinate with payors to resolve issues efficiently. You will document and track outcomes, working closely with PFS leadership to identify root causes and implement denial-prevention practices.

The role requires a strong background in medical billing, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and excellent analytical and communication skills.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor degree preferred.
• 5 years experience in medical billing and insurance.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and effectively multitask.
• Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills required.
• Ability to communicate accurately, clearly, and professionally.

Responsabilidades

• Manage claim denials and initiate reconsideration or appeal processes.
• Document, track status, and communicate with payors to resolve issues promptly.
• Collaborate with PFS management to collect data on root causes and denial prevention procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure timely follow-up on appeals.
• Support continuous improvement of denial management workflows.
