MedSpeed is seeking a Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver in Pittsburgh, PA, offering $17.00/hr for a full-time role Monday–Friday, 6:15am–3:45pm. The position involves driving a company vehicle to transport lab specimens, records, pharmaceuticals, and supplies, while maintaining a professional image and adhering to schedules.

Ideal candidates are 19+, with 3+ years driving, strong customer service, dependability, and comfort with technology.

Qualifications

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
Familiarity working with and adapting to technology.
Demonstrated ability to follow procedures closely.
Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screen.

Responsibilities

Safely drive and transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, and related materials in a company-owned vehicle.
Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items through the transportation cycle.
Follow operating policies, procedures and service schedules.
Present a professional image to clients and the public.
Load and unload items and maintain a clean vehicle.
Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and route variations as needed.
Collaborate with teammates and clients to support operations.
