MedSpeed is seeking a Medical Driver based in San Diego, CA. This full-time role involves safely transporting lab specimens, medical records, and supplies in a company vehicle, with a fixed 7:00am-3:30pm schedule.

Qualifications include a clean driving history, 19+ years old with 3+ years of licensed driving, ability to lift 50 lb, and vaccination proof per local mandates. Training provided and benefits included.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Familiarity working with and adapting to technology.
• Demonstrated ability to follow procedures closely.
• Ability to determine efficient routing between multiple points.
• Must have an excellent driving history.
• Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination depending on location and local mandates.
• Must be able to regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company-owned vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, and related materials.
• Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items.
• Observe operating policies, procedures, and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload items with proper equipment.
• Demonstrate safe driving behavior and conduct pre/post-trip inspections.
• Adapt routes based on client needs and time constraints.
• Collaborate with teammates and clients to ensure smooth deliveries.
