Job summary

MedSpeed is hiring a Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver in Orlando, FL. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, with a starting pay of $16.00 per hour in a company vehicle handling lab specimens and related materials.

You will operate scanning devices, follow schedules, and present a professional image to clients while maintaining safety and quality on every route. A valid driver’s license and clean driving history are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
• Must pass initial and random drug & alcohol screens.
• Excellent driving history required.
• COVID-19 vaccination depending on location and local mandates.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals and related materials.
• Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items throughout the transportation cycle.
• Observe all safety policies, procedures and schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload items with appropriate equipment.
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
• Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean vehicle.
• Adapt routes based on client needs and collaborate with teammates.
