Job summary

Lincare is seeking an efficient, safety-conscious delivery driver to perform routine oxygen deliveries and equipment checks across a daily route. You will handle minor repairs, ensure equipment maintenance, and keep accurate records while upholding DOT/FDA/OSHA/Lincare safety standards.

You must have a High School Diploma or GED, be at least 21, and obtain a CDL Class C with HazMat if not already licensed. A valid driver’s license is required and you will be part of an on-call schedule with

• Must be willing to obtain a CDL class C or above with Hazardous Materials certification.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• CDL Required.

Responsibilities

• Makes oxygen deliveries and equipment checks on a daily route as determined by customer base and routing system.
• Performs minor equipment repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Maintains company vehicle in clean and orderly manner and completes paperwork.
• Cleans rental equipment and keeps warehouse organized.
• Follows FDA, OSHA, DOT, and company safety policies and procedures.
• Works as on-call service representative evenings and weekends as scheduled.
• May serve as a backup to other employees for vacation or illness.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job description

This employeeperforms routine delivery of oxygen and equipment in a professional, safe and timely manner. This includesaccurate recordkeeping, excellent customer service, and adherence to DOT/FDA/OSHA/Lincare safety standards.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Makes oxygen deliveries (liquid oxygen, cylinder, and concentrator) and equipment checks on a daily route asdetermined by customer base and Lincare routing system
  • Deliveries may include refilling reservoirs with liquidoxygen from a truck mounted tank
• Performs minor equipment repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment both in the facility and at thecenter
  • For equipment repairs requiring other than minor repair work equipment is to be packaged for shipmentto the manufacturer or their designee
  • Responsible for equipment maintenance per schedule recommended by
    the manufacturer
• Maintains company vehicle in clean and orderly manner
  • Makes daily inspections and complete properpaperwork
  • Maintains established preventative maintenance schedule
• Cleans rental equipment when returned to the center in accordance with Lincare policies and procedures
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of warehouse/storage area
• Follows FDA guidelines pertaining to cylinder tracking and oxygen analyzer testing
• Follows Lincare policies as indicated in the operations manual and training manuals, including those found in theSafety & Regulatory manual regarding General Safety, OSHA (includes the proper use of Personal ProtectiveEquipment), DOT (includes adherence to the Vehicle Safety Disciplinary Policy), FDA, and Emergency Planning
• Works as oncall service representative evenings and weekends on an as scheduled basis
  • Frequency isdetermined by the center size and the number of employees available to share in the responsibility
  • Mustrespond in a timely manner and record information on Service Call Report
• May serve as a backup to other employees for vacation, illness, and other periods of absenteeism
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Complies with all policies and standards

Qualifications.

Education:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must be 21 years of age
• Must be willing to obtain a CDL class C or above with Hazardous Materials certification

Licenses and Certifications:
