Job summary

Lincare seeks a detail-oriented professional to manage payer communications for medical claims status, denials, and partial payments, ensuring timely adjudication.

You will verify and adjust Accounts Receivable based on insurer correspondence, facilitate interoffice communication on error and denial trends, and research credit balances to initiate refunds. The role documents all activity in the customer’s account and supports RBCO reports.

Responsibilities

• Contacts payers for medical claims status, follow-up denials, or partial payments.
• Obtains payer requirements for timely adjudication of claims.
• Verifies, adjusts, and updates Accounts Receivable (A/R) according to correspondence received from insurance company
• Helps facilitate interoffice communication on error and denial trends
• Researches credit balances and initiates refunds as required
• Documents all activity in customer's computer account
• Works assigned RBCO reports
• Available to assist other PACs with questions or collection needs
