Job summary

Orion Laboratories is seeking a full-time Medical Courier in Baton Rouge, LA to safely pick up and deliver specimens and supplies, ensuring integrity and client satisfaction. The role runs Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM Central, with rotating weekends and OT eligibility.

• Complete assigned courier routes accurately and on schedule, including specimen pick-ups and supply deliveries.
• Safely transport patient specimens while maintaining required handling, temperature, and specimen-integrity standards.
• Verify and document specimen pick-ups and deliveries according to established procedures.
• Check for supply orders at the beginning of each shift and deliver materials to designated client locations.
• Communicate delays, route issues, specimen concerns, or client needs promptly to the team.
• Maintain professional relationships with physician offices, facilities, laboratory staff, and other clients.
• Follow traffic laws and company safe-driving requirements while operating Orion-provided vehicle.
• Inspect courier vehicle for damage and report issues promptly.

Responsibilities
