Job summary

FedEx Canada is seeking a delivery associate to provide courteous pickup and delivery on an assigned route, ensuring packages comply with service standards and proper paperwork. You will assist customers, inform the sales team of leads, and maintain safety and labeling standards across Canada, the US, and international requirements.

The role may involve loading/unloading and scanning packages and requires a valid driver's license, the ability to lift heavy items, and a neat professional

Qualifications

• High school diploma or educational equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.
• Knowledge of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian customs regulations is asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and efficient pick-up and delivery of packages on an assigned route.
• Check shipments for conformance to FedEx Canada features of service and ensure proper labeling and paperwork.
• Provide related customer service functions and inform sales of leads and market changes.
• Maintain neat appearance and adhere to courier best practices and safety procedures.
• May perform aircraft/container loading/unloading and sorting/scanning as workload dictates.
• Respond to customer questions about FedEx Canada services and Canada/US/International requirements.
