Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is hiring a part-time Medical Courier in Saint Cloud, MN. The role runs Mondays 1:00 PM–9:30 PM and Tuesdays 3:00 PM–11:00 PM (18 hours/week). A $2,000 sign-on bonus is available for external applicants.

You will deliver medical specimens, use scanners, and communicate with healthcare staff to ensure timely, accurate deliveries. The job emphasizes independent work, DOT/HIPAA compliance, and patient-care support on a predictable route with competitive benefits and growth

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s license with at least 3 years driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no more than two moving violations in the prior 36 months, none in last 12 months.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems on the road.
• Comfort using mobile devices or scanning tools.
• Lift up to 30 lbs and stay mobile during shift.
• Prior medical, courier, or logistics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick up, transport, and deliver medical specimens on a scheduled route.
• Communicate professionally with doctors, nurses, and lab staff for timely deliveries.
• Safely operate a company-provided vehicle (non-CDL).
• Use handheld scanners, route software, and mobile apps to track deliveries.
• Ensure proper specimen handling, labeling, storage, and documentation.
• Comply with DOT, HIPAA, OSHA, and internal safety standards.

Pay range: $18.00 - $19.50 / hour; employee may be eligible to receive shift differential of 10% for some or all hours worked on second shift and 15% for some or all hours worked on third shift. Additional details on shift differential will be provided if an offer is extended.

Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

What you need:

• Valid Driver’s license with a minimum of 3 years driving experience and documentation of a Motor Vehicle Record with no more than two moving violation convictions within the previous 36-month period, with none in the most recent 12 months.
• Great customer service and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, with reliable documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and problem-solve on the road
• Comfortable using mobile devices or scanning tools
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and be on the move for much of your shift
• Prior medical, customer service, courier, or logistics experience is strongly preferred
