Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is hiring a Medical Courier in Madison, WI, with a Monday–Friday schedule and rotating Saturday shifts. The role involves loading, transporting, and delivering medical specimens to labs and facilities, using handheld scanners and route software.

You will represent the company on the road, communicating with healthcare staff and ensuring timely, accurate deliveries. A valid license, clean MV record, and customer service skills are essential; prior courier or medical logistics

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license with a clean MV record and no more than two moving violations in 36 months.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail with reliable documentation.
Ability to work independently and solve problems on the road.
Comfortable using mobile devices or scanning tools.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and be on the move for long shifts.
Prior medical, courier, or logistics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Pick up, transport, and deliver medical specimens and lab materials on a scheduled route.
Communicate professionally with doctors, nurses, and lab staff to ensure timely deliveries.
Safely operate a company-provided vehicle (non-CDL).
Use handheld scanners, route software, and mobile apps to track deliveries.
Ensure proper specimen handling, labeling, storage, and documentation.
Comply with DOT, HIPAA, OSHA, and internal safety standards.
