Job summary

MVHC in Zanesville, OH is seeking a part-time Courier Delivery Driver to join our team. You will operate MVHC vehicles safely, deliver prescriptions, specimens, and mail to patients and facilities, and record deliveries.

You must be at least 18, have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid Ohio driver's license, and pass DOT physical and drug tests. Strong written and verbal communication and the ability to lift 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old with a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid State of Ohio Driver’s License.
• Ability to understand and adhere to oral and written instructions.
• Good writing, reading and communication skills.
• Pass standard DOT Physical and annual drug/alcohol tests.
• Pass pre-employment and random drug & alcohol tests as required.
• Pass a criminal background check and a MVR background check.
• Be physically able to push, pull or lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate MVHC vehicles in a safe and professional manner.
• Deliver prescriptions, specimens, and mail to patients’ homes and facilities; ensure timely deliveries.
• Record and track deliveries; input data into the route tablet.
• Monitor and report vehicle condition and perform required inspections.
• Return undelivered parcels to the pharmacy at day’s end; assist with special counts as needed.
