Job summary

Rapid Medical, a tech-forward logistics partner for labs, clinics, and health systems, is seeking independent contractor drivers for routes starting in Sylva, NC. You will navigate a set of stops, photograph pickups/deliveries, log proof of delivery, and use our driver app with real-time dispatch support.

Ideal candidates own a personal vehicle, valid license and insurance, 21+ years old, and can lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Handle specimens carefully and maintain required temperatures.
• Report any issues to dispatch immediately.

Contractors located within 15 miles of the start point, end point, or anywhere along the route are well-suited for this position.

Pay

• All-inclusive rate per route — mileage, drive time, and expenses are already factored in (no separate per-mile pay).
  
• Weekly bonus: $20–$100
• Training bonus: paid after 30 days with no call-offs
• Sign-on bonus: $150 after 30 days active with no call-offs
• Paid via bi-weekly direct deposit or same-day cash-out (fees may apply)

Reliable and on time. Detail-oriented. Communicates quickly when something comes up. Comfortable adjusting on the fly. Delivery, rideshare, or courier experience is a plus but not required.

What the Route Looks Like

• Run your stops using our driver app — navigation, scheduling, and real-time support built in
• Photograph pickups/deliveries and log proof of delivery through the app
• Handle specimens carefully and keep proper temperature (room, refrigerated, or frozen as required)
• Contact dispatch right away if anything looks damaged, improperly packaged, or off
