Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in Springfield, IL is seeking a Medical Courier to join our mobile delivery team. You'll pick up, transport, and deliver medical specimens on a scheduled route, working Monday through Friday 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM with rotating Saturdays.

A $2,000 sign-on bonus is available for external applicants. You will interact with doctors and lab staff, operate a company vehicle (non-CDL), and use handheld scanners and route software to ensure accurate, timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's license with a minimum of 3 years driving experience and MVR with no more than two moving violation convictions within the previous 36 months.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and reliable documentation.

Responsibilities

Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with rotational weekends every other Saturday 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM (when working Sat, get a day off during the week)

Pay range: $17.75 - $18.00 / hour; employee may be eligible to receive shift differential of 10% for some or all hours worked on second shift and 15% for some or all hours worked on third shift. Additional details on shift differential will be provided if an offer is extended.

Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

What you need:

• Valid Driver's license with a minimum of 3 years driving experience and documentation of a Motor Vehicle Record with no more than two moving violation convictions within the previous 36-month period, with none in the most recent 12 months.


• Great customer service and communication skills


• Strong attention to detail, with reliable documentation skills


• Ability to work independently and problem-solve on the road


• Comfortable using mobile devices or scanning tools
  
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and be on the move for much of your shift


• Prior medical, customer service, courier, or logistics experience is strongly preferred
