Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Medical Courier in Amarillo, TX, to reliably pick up and deliver medical specimens along a scheduled route. The role requires strong customer service, clear communication with clinical staff, and the ability to operate a non-CDL vehicle while maintaining precise documentation.

You will use handheld scanners and route software to ensure timely, accurate deliveries, while adhering to safety standards and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with at least 3 years driving experience and clean Motor Vehicle Record (no more than two moving violations in 36 months, none in last 12 months).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and reliable documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems on the road.
• Comfortable using mobile devices or scanning tools.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stay on the move during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Pick up, transport, and deliver medical specimens and lab materials on a scheduled route.
• Communicate professionally with doctors, nurses, and lab staff to ensure timely deliveries.
• Safely operate a company-provided vehicle (non-CDL).
• Use handheld scanners, route software, and mobile apps to track deliveries.
• Ensure proper specimen handling, labeling, storage, and documentation.
• Comply with all DOT, HIPAA, OSHA, and internal safety standards.

Pay range: $17.50+ per hour

Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

What you’ll do:

Qualifications

What you need:

• Valid Driver’s license with a minimum of 3 years driving experience and documentation of a Motor Vehicle Record with no more than two moving violation convictions within the previous 36‑month period, with none in the most recent 12 months.

• Prior medical, customer service, courier, or logistics experience is strongly preferred
