Job summary

You’ll craft scripts for short-form video, long-form explainers, podcasts, and social content. This role blends medical writing with content production and rapid response to new research.

You’ll work with clinical reviewers, designers, and the social team to publish high-quality content that educates a broad audience while maintaining scientific accuracy.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of experience in medical writing, medical communications, health content production, or related field.
• Writing samples required; produced work (video/audio) is a plus.
• Comfort reading medical research, including trial data, endpoints and effect sizes.
• Ability to explain complex medical topics to a general audience without sacrificing accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Read and critically appraise clinical literature across therapeutic areas.
• Develop story ideas, pitch them, and write scripts for video, audio, and social content.
• Help produce content: plan shoots, prep experts, support interviews, and coordinate with editors.
• Track developments in medicine and health policy and translate into timely content.
• Write a regular trend brief for internal teams.
• Fact-check everything and maintain a source file for each piece.
• Collaborate with clinical reviewers, designers, and the social team on publishing.
