About the Position:

This position is located at Naval Base Health Clinic Portsmouth. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. Recruitment or relocation incentives MAY be authorized for highly qualified candidates. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.

• Performs tracking of electronic medical referral consultations, obtains and inputs results into the patient’s electronic health record and properly closes medical referrals per guidelines.


• Organizes, manages and retrieves data and submits monthly reports to the supervisor and Division Chief.


• Performs data entry into databases to maintain accountability of consults for purpose of results retrieval and quality medical care.


• Manages the tracking and reporting status of pending medical results or evaluations with network providers.


• Must use electronic fax or other designated faxing system to receive and download all results generated by contractors to meet contract requirements.
