Job summary

Popps Ferry Out-Patient Surgery in Biloxi, MS is seeking a Compliance Officer to champion regulatory adherence and ethics. This in-person role focuses on developing and overseeing a robust compliance program across departments, with impact on governance and financial integrity.

The successful candidate will have a Nursing/Health Care Administration background, ambulatory surgery center management experience, and strong planning, organizing, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Health Care Administration, or related field.
• Experience in administration/management of an ambulatory surgery center.
• Strong planning, organizing, facilitating, coordinating and communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Excel, email and time management tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and monitor the implementation of a compliance program.
• Revise the program per changing statutes and regulations.
• Review and provide input on policies and procedures that impact corporate compliance.
• Develop/coordinate and participate in educational and training programs that focus on the elements of the compliance program.
• Assist the Governing Body and Administration in coordination of internal compliance reviews and monitoring activities.
• Prepare detailed reports for regulatory agencies, management, and auditors related to compliance status and financial disclosures.
• Participate in QAPI plans to identify compliance risk areas and address any compliance issues.

• Strong computer skills including MS Office package, Excel, email, and time management software.
