Job summary

Responsibilities include identifying coding errors, communicating findings in departmental meetings, and supporting revenue cycle initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proficient in medical coding per CMS/NCQA standards.
• Experience with reviewing charge sessions and coding accurately.
• Ability to query providers for documentation clarification.

Responsibilities

• Review medical and ancillary work sessions within KP Health Connect and apply coding principles.
• Code and data-enter encounters supported by KPHC Charge capture tool.
• Review paper encounters and baskets to ensure correct coding.
