J. Morrissey & Company, Inc. in Glastonbury, CT is seeking a Medical Claims Processor for a 3rd party administrator role focused on healthcare claims, benefits and payments. The position is on-site in a nice office with cafeteria and free parking.

Hours are Monday through Friday from 11:30am to 8:00pm, with a pay rate of $24.00 per hour based on experience. Ideal candidates will have revenue cycle and medical billing familiarity, including EOBs, UB-04 forms, and bilingual Spanish abilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience in Revenue Cycle: medical billing, medical collections, or insurance follow-up.
• Familiarity with EOBs, Form 1500 and UB-04s.
• Understanding of payor/insurance methodologies and gaps in documentation.
• Bi-Lingual Spanish is required.

Responsabilités

• Resolve client health premiums and out-of-pocket medical expenses by reviewing medical documentation and identifying gaps.
• Answer phones and respond to client inquiries related to payments on their behalf.
• Make outgoing calls to clients, medical providers, and insurance companies resolving gaps in information.
• Ensure payment processing timeliness and accuracy are met.
• Send follow-up letters for approvals and/or denial letters.
