Apex Paramedics, LLC is seeking a proactive follow-up specialist to manage insurance aging claims in Denver. You will own the follow-up process, review accounts receivable, and navigate insurance portals to get status updates.

The role emphasizes strong communication, attention to detail, and a problem-solving mindset, with opportunities to reduce denials and improve cash flow. Compensation is $19–$22 per hour, full-time, with standard benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of medical billing experience (ambulance billing a plus).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow through.
• Comfortable working with insurance portals and claims.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ambulance/EMS billing experience preferred.
• Medical Billing or Coding Certification preferred.
