Zion HealthShare is seeking a Medical Billing Specialist to oversee payment of medical bills related to Sharing Request submissions and to communicate with members and providers to ensure timely payments.

Responsibilities include creating records, obtaining information for determinations, processing provider and member payments, managing emails and phone inquiries, and keeping all parties informed with regular updates while ensuring a high level of member satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of customer service experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite and typing speed of 45 WPM.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple programs.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all company, department and position policies and procedures.
• Manage Medical Need Submissions including creating records, obtaining information for determination, processing payments, and communicating status with member.
• Coordinate payment to providers and members in a timely manner.
• Support in email inbox management.
• Support in managing and addressing phone call inquiries.
• Keep members and providers informed about medical needs through regular updates.
• Strive to meet and exceed member expectations with high satisfaction.
• Remain flexible to changes in job responsibilities.
