MedBest Medical Management in Syracuse is seeking a Billing Specialist to handle charge review, payment posting, accounts receivable follow up, denials and related billing tasks. The role requires accuracy, speed, and independence, with ability to use position-specific software.

Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm. Benefits include health, dental and vision insurance, 401k eligibility after one year, tuition reimbursement, generous paid time off, sick leave and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent and two years clerical support in a medical billing setting.
• Will consider equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to work independently with speed and accuracy and have strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform charge review, payment posting, AR follow up, denials / correspondence and other assigned billing tasks.
