Job summary

Pgalr in United States is seeking a dedicated Medical Billing Associate to join our clinic and surgical center. The role supports the Revenue Cycle process with a focus on insurance verification, pre-authorizations, and patient billing inquiries.

You'll manage denial handling, appeals, and payment plans, working Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, using EMR and practice management software. A high school diploma and 1–3 years in medical billing are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical billing and revenue cycle workflows.
• Knowledge of health insurance terminology, deductibles, co-pays.
• Familiarity with CPT/ICD-10 coding systems and pre-authorizations.

This position involves various tasks aimed at supporting the Revenue Cycle process and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic and surgical center. The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of health insurance coverage, deductible, co-insurance, out of pocket, referrals, and prior authorizations. The schedule will be Monday through Friday- 8:30 am-5:00 pm.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements

• Technical Skills: Proficiency with electronic health records (EMR) and practice management billing software and working knowledge of medical terminology and coding systems (CPT, ICD-10)
