Job summary

U.S. Renal Care is seeking a Reimbursement Representative to perform reconciliation and review of Medicare/Commercial patient balances in line with reimbursement policies. The role emphasizes resolving electronic claim rejections and EOB denials while ensuring timely payments.

Responsibilities include reviewing EOBs, researching payer communications, and following up on unpaid accounts. A minimum of two years in medical billing and coding knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least two years in health/medical billing and collections.
• Proficient with medical billing software and common office tools.
• Knowledge of CPT, ICD-9, HCPCS and payer rules.
• Confidentiality under HIPAA; strong Excel/Outlook skills.

Responsibilities

• Review EOB/EOMB for proper reimbursement.
• Resolve claim rejections and EOB denials promptly.
• Research insurance correspondence for timely payments.
• Follow up on unpaid balances and aging AR as directed.
• Communicate with Medicare/Medicaid/commercial payors to resolve issues.
• Perform claim appeals as needed; assist with credit balances.
