Personalis, Inc. is seeking a Receipts Posting Specialist to optimize revenue cycle management for the NeXT Personal DX test.

You will manage posting, batching, and reconciliation of receipts, and lead denial management and appeals to maximize reimbursement. You will engage with payers, patients, and vendors, ensuring accurate coding, documentation, and timely payments while supporting financial assistance programs and system integrations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in medical billing or related field.
• Exceptional phone etiquette for patient, physician, and insurer communication.
• Multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
• Proficient with spreadsheets (formulas & pivot tables) and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support revenue cycle operations for third-party claims and client billing.
• Ensure billing data is available for order entry.
• Determine coverage status of test orders by reviewing criteria.
• Assign test codes based on payer and clinical criteria.
• Follow up on claim errors and denials and analyze root causes.
• Obtain medical records and process appeals for denied claims.
• Assist patients or insurance companies via phone or email.
• Support NeXT Access patient financial assistance program.
• Collaborate with Client Experience team and other business units.
• Post receipts, create payment batches, and reconcile transactions.
• Identify and resolve payment posting errors; assist with system integrations.
