Qualifications

• Experience managing full revenue cycle in a medical office.

Responsibilities

• Code medical services, diagnoses and treatments in the charting system.
• Review documentation to ensure accurate coding and billing.
• Submit claims to Medicare, Medicaid and other insurers.
• Post insurance payments and adjustments.
• Follow up on outstanding claims and balances.
• Collect and process patient payments.
• Prepare patient cost estimates based on testing and treatment plans.
• Explain expected insurance coverage and patient financial responsibility.
• Collaborate with providers and staff to resolve billing and coding issues.
• Maintain accurate patient and billing records.
