Granger Medical Clinic in Taylorsville, UT is seeking a Medical Biller to join our Revenue Cycle department. The role analyzes and researches claims to identify issues and ensure resolution in a timely manner. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8–5.

Responsibilities include resolving edits and denials, communicating with payers, drafting appeal letters, and tracking progress within established timelines. Two years of medical billing experience is required.

Qualifications

• Two years medical billing experience required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Accurate analytical and mathematical abilities with advanced level of Excel and Word.
• Resolves billing edits and denials within established timelines.
• Identifies trends and communicates recommendations for resolution to supervisor/manager.
• Follow-up with insurance companies regarding claim status and payment.
• Writes appeal letters using established guidelines to resolve collection barriers.
• Respond to written and email correspondence within established timelines.
