Shireen V Guide M D Inc is seeking a Medical Biller to join our team. You will handle billing questions, process insurance claims, and gather documentation from patients and staff to ensure accurate billing and coding.

You will collaborate with physicians to obtain charge details and provide coding guidance as needed. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, excellent customer service, and is comfortable addressing billing collections issues by phone.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with processing insurance claims through both private insurance and Medicaid/Medicare.
• Note and process all necessary forms from the insurance according to contracts and regulations.
• Assist patients in navigating the billing and insurance landscape, including collecting all necessary forms and signatures.
• Work with medical providers to obtain correct charge information and billing details.
• Staying up-to-date with all changes to coding, billing, medical insurance rules and pertinent information provided by different agencies.
• Enter all billing and payment information into the system properly, without errors and timely.
• Follow up with clients and payments, as needed keeping our account receivables under control.
• Answer phones and emails as needed.
• Maintains the highest level of confidentiality.
• Attends weekly and monthly meetings.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Medical Biller to join our team! As a Medical Biller, you will be working closely with our patients to answer questions related to billing, collections, processing all forms needed for insurance billing purposes, and collecting necessary documentation from patients and staff. You will also assist members of our medical practice with follow-up inquiries from clients, communicate with our physicians to obtain necessary information to accurately process the billing and to provide suggestions on correct coding to charge procedures accordingly. The ideal candidate has excellent attention to detail, strong customer service skills, and is comfortable addressing billing collections issues by phone. Computer savvy is a must. Experience navigating electronic medical records required.
