About the Role:

The Medical Biller plays a critical role in the healthcare revenue cycle by ensuring accurate and timely processing of patient billing and insurance claims. This position involves reviewing and coding medical procedures and diagnoses using CPT and ICD-10 coding systems to facilitate proper reimbursement. The Medical Biller collaborates closely with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to resolve billing discrepancies and post payments efficiently. Fluency in Spanish enhances communication with a diverse patient population, improving service quality and patient satisfaction. Ultimately, this role ensures that healthcare providers receive appropriate compensation while maintaining compliance with medical billing regulations.

Please Note: This position is not remote. The selected candidate must work on-site at our office and be available to report to the office as scheduled. Remote or hybrid work arrangements are not available for this role.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proven experience in medical billing and coding, including proficiency with CPT and ICD-10 coding systems.
• Strong understanding of medical insurance processes and claim submission procedures.
• Ability to post payments accurately and manage patient billing accounts.
• Fluency in Spanish to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking patients.
• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in medical billing or coding is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification such as Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS).
