Qualifications

• Medical Assisting Certificate of Achievement; 2 years field experience; BLS for Healthcare Provider; RMA, CMA, CCMA, NCMA, or CMAC preferred.
• Degrees from accredited institutions required; non-U.S. degrees recognized if equivalence established.
• Instructors must hold the required certificates, licenses, and registrations for the courses they teach.
• Good reading, analytical and communication skills essential for student interaction.

Responsibilities

• Instruction and Curriculum Delivery: Prepare lessons aligned to curriculum and deliver instruction with varied methods.
• Student Support and Success: Maintain regular communication, offer advising, tutoring, and office hours.
• Assessment and Program Improvement: Regularly assess outcomes and contribute to program improvement.
• Collaboration and Faculty Development: Participate in departmental meetings and mentor new faculty.
• Compliance and Accreditation: Adhere to accreditation standards and document records.
• Other Duties: Ensure instructional materials are current and classroom equipment is maintained.
